Founders with an Edge

What gave us conviction in GameRamp wasn’t just the product, it was the team building it.

Co-founder Vivek Ramachandran, who leads finance, studio relations, and business development, brings a rare mix of operational and investment experience. Before founding GameRamp, he led AI and consumer tech investments at Z47, a global multi-stage VC fund, and previously drove live-ops monetization and emerging market expansion at Electronic Arts and Big Viking Games. An active angel investor and former SaaS founder with a deep background in data and machine learning, Vivek brings a strategic lens to every facet of GameRamp’s growth.

“Studios today are being asked to compete like top-tier publishers but without the tools, capital, or expertise,” Vivek notes. “We’re building GameRamp to bridge that gap. Our platform is designed to let small teams punch above their weight by automating the operational heavy lifting of scaling and monetizing games.”

On the product and technology side, Co-founder Sashank Vandrangi leads GameRamp’s vision. Sashank has scaled complex systems before—most notably at Mobile Premier League (MPL), where he led high-impact product and data teams across multiple regions. At King, he held a feature lead role, securing a patent in product innovation while translating competitive insights into successful features. His background also spans consulting at BCG, where he focused on product strategy and pricing for major tech and media clients.

“We’re applying the discipline and tooling of modern SaaS to the creative chaos of mobile games,” says Sashank. “Our goal is to reduce guesswork and make advanced publishing capabilities accessible, repeatable, and scalable so that developers can focus on building great games.”

Why Now: Timing Meets Tailwinds

The timing for GameRamp couldn’t be more opportune. Mobile games generate over $120 billion annually, with IAP-driven titles representing the lion’s share of that value. Yet rising user acquisition costs and increasingly complex monetization mechanics are squeezing margins and slowing down promising studios.

Many mobile games teams lack the expertise or resources to implement LiveOps or forecast LTV with confidence. GameRamp addresses this “mid-tail” opportunity head-on with a capital-efficient model that levels the playing field. Their platform gives smaller studios the same firepower as the top publishers but without the overhead.
